The new Touchscreen LCD allows you to control your camera just like a smart phone. In Playback mode, you can "swipe" side-to-side to view your images as well as "pinch" to zoom in and out on an image. Touchscreen also works when choosing menu options. You can still use the camera buttons to set menu options, but once you try doing it with the touchscreen, you'll never bother with the buttons again.
