Dental Photography Interactive Training Program by Dr. Christopher Orr
Dr. Christopher Orr (current British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry President) and Smile-On LTD have developed this interactive learning program to give all dental staff the knowledge and skills to create consistent and high quality clinical photographs. Total running time is approximately 2 hours.

The links below allow you to view short segments from each of the four sections on the CD. Each segments is approximately 2 minutes long and will repeat in case you miss anything. Click the "Back" button in your browser to return to this page when you are done.

Note: The segments are Adobe Flash presentations. Most browsers will play these files without any issues. If you have trouble, go to Adobe's Download Center and download their browser updater.

Segment #1 - "Why Photograph Teeth?"
Segment #2 - "What is Photography?"
Segment #3 - "Clinical Application"
Segment #4 - "Image Management"

Packaged with the interactive CD presentation are a set of six photo sheets that depict the necessary images for any clinical application (example shown below). The sheets photographically show the shots that are needed as well as the macro lens magnification and f-stop setting.

While dental photography classes are very valuable, they are usually one to two days in length. You would need to close your office if you wanted to train multiple staff members and the tuition would be expensive. If you do take a dental photography class, the interactive cd training program can be used as a refresher at any time.

This interactive cd training program can be referenced over and over. When you add staff to your practice, they can be educated as well without further expense.

The cd includes a license that allows you to install the course on two computers.
